This notice describes the current Metal3DPrinting.ai application.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run locally in your browser. The site application does not upload calculator inputs or store them on a server, and it does not save scenarios in localStorage or cookies. Inputs remain in the open page until you clear, reload or leave it; your browser may retain page history or form state according to its own settings.
Scenario links
Copying a scenario link intentionally places the scenario values in its URL fragment, after the # character. Anyone who receives that link can read the values. Browsers normally omit fragments from HTTP requests, but the complete link can still be visible in browser history, clipboard tools, extensions, screenshots or messages where you share it. Do not put confidential information into a link you intend to share.
Accounts, uploads and tracking
The public application has no user account system, CAD uploads, advertising trackers, behavioral advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Optional first-party product-event measurement is disabled unless a same-origin MEASUREMENT_ENDPOINT is configured at deployment; when enabled it receives allow-listed event names and small non-scenario details only. Measurement failures do not affect the site. Private previews may require the hosting provider’s sign-in; that access service is separate from the calculator. No cookie banner is added by the application.
Voluntary commercial forms
The local RFQ brief collects project details only and never leaves your device. A separate optional lead path can collect the name, company and email address a visitor chooses to enter, for manual triage only when a deployment endpoint is configured. Quote-data contributions are separate, de-identified records intended for manual review and future aggregate analysis; they are not automatically published and do not change calculator logic. The newsletter form collects an email address only when a person voluntarily requests updates. Both the RFQ lead form and the newsletter signup are live: submissions go to a first-party intake endpoint on this site and are stored for manual review. We reply manually; a submission does not imply supplier matching, pricing or a response time.
Hosting and external links
Hosting, network and access providers may process normal request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and access/security logs, and may use cookies for access or security. We do not promise that those providers keep no logs or cookies. Linked OEM and other external sites have their own privacy practices.
Email and correction reports
The correction form prepares text locally and does not submit it to a server. An email link opens your email application; sending an email shares the message, address and any attachments you provide with the recipient and email providers. That information is used to respond to your inquiry or investigate a correction. Do not include sensitive or confidential material. No specific email retention period is promised here.
